HTC is unstoppable on smartphone arena. Hero2 is coming next year, be prepared!

In case you're considering finally buying an HTC Hero then maybe you'll want to hold that thought for a second. It looks like HTC is developing a successor of this great Android handset, the HTC Hero 2, so you might want to get that smartphone instead of the original.

It's not the first time that HTC is making a new version of a hit phone so we can expect the Hero 2 to come with even better features than the first Hero.

Naturally, at this point there aren't any details available about the HTC Hero and we expect the company to reveal the new HTC Hero 2 at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in February. The handset has been confirmed though by none other than HTC's Sweden exec, Patrick Andersson.
