Prices for mobile broadband modems have been in flux for some time, but now have stopped at £20-35. O2 has permanently reduced the price of their pay as you go modem to £20, making it one of the cheapest broadband modems on pay as you go in UK. Only T-Mobile with £19.99 dongle is ahead.

They offer Huawei USB modem with speeds up to 3.6 Mb/s. This is not a top speed but a strong average. Some modems are up to 7.2 Mb/s and O2 has already tested 4G modems with amazing data transfer rate of 150 Mb/s!

Do not forget, that O2 Mobile Broadband Pay As You Go subscribers get access to "The Cloud" network of Wi-Fi spots.
